| | By Yahoo Answers | | 2006-09-07 10:54:48 | | I am looking for a website that sells stainless steel glock slides for a Glock 17 or Glock 20. | | Answered By: H | |
| | I have never seen a Glock stainless steel slide, only Glock slides that were nickel-plated. I have seen stainless steel barrels made for Glock by other manufacturers.
Personally I like to keep my Glocks all Glock, but if you have a fancy for a different finish on your Glock slide then you should just look into having it nickel plated. There are many good finishes available. Check with a competent gunsmith.
NOTE: I learned to LOVE the 'ugly' black finish on my service Glock after one felony suspect I had to hold at gun-point commented on his way to the jail, "That is the biggest, baddest, ugliest gun I have ever seen!" To which I replied, "Stop exaggerating; it's only a .10mm!"
