Any suggestions for a good concealable holster for a Glock model 22 or 27?

I'm a small-framed female officer working in a plain-clothes capacity and need a way of concealing either a Glock model 22 or 27, without having to rely on wearing large, bulky layers of clothing that screams, "I'm a cop..." It's gotta be easily accesible, but still have some level of retention safety...any suggestions???

Here are a couple of ideas. I would advise against the "purse holsters", especially if this is for on-duty plain clothes work. They will give you major accessibility problems. As for shooting through the purse, I'm sure you know how impractical that is in a law enforcement situation. In my experience, the small of the back and ankle holsters both work very well. You could look into a thigh holster if you will be wearing skirts, but you may have retention issues. Good luck and stay safe! http://www.galls.com/style.html?assort=general_catalog&style=LP017&cat=2956 http://www.galls.com/style.html?assort=general_catalog&style=LP234&cat=2956 http://www.sightm1911.com/lib/ccw/ccw_holsters.htm

Yes! They make specialized purses with a hidden compartment that conceals the handgun. When needed, you can slip your hand through a hidden but accessible pouch on the outside of the bag, grip the pistol, and fire through the purse. They sell them at gun shows.

tell yourself that if you were on the job your Sergeant would not be able to answer your question.
