I keep hearing people mention factory rebuilt Glocks, does anyone know where I could find one and what the prices are? I would prefer a Glock 20 (10mm auto)

I have seen these things in gun shops. The price difference between the rebuilt and brand new gun is so negligible, something like $50- $75, I would opt to buy a new gun.It just isn't worth the hassle, in case some goes wrong in the rebuilt gun. The case of a brand new Glock out of the box not functional is almost non existent.

You could check with the factory itself, or you could look in the Shotgun News, which is a good source of information.

Factory rebuilt Glocks? I'm not sure what that means. I know earlier generation Glocks can be sent in to replace the old frame with one that has a rail and/or to refinish the tenifer finish. The springs can be replaced and so can the barrel but these are usually improvements requested by the Glock owner. Glocks wear very well but I suppose one could buy a used Glock that has been refinished by the factory with new springs, frame, etc. Also, the Glock Model 20 .10mm is a superior pistol It has been my duty pistol for more than 12 years. you can find them in local sporting goods stores, like gander mountain, or on the internet. Try Gunbroker.com and gunsamerica.com

This is a 'left-over' from years ago, when Glock was trading Law enforcement new pistols and magazines for their old ones to try and circumvent "Slick Willy's" Illegal gun and high-cap magazine ban, before it died(Thank Goodness); as used pistols and mags weren't covered under the gun grab. It put quite a number of high-cap mags into law-abiding citizens' hands at the time. Almost all of these weapons are long gone, and, at least for now, the mag ban is no longer a concern. BEWARE! There are members of 'our' Congress who are right now trying to strap law-abiding citizens with even WORSE gun control laws, including a far WORSE semi-auto weapon ban, as you read this! If one cares about their Second Amendment rights, contact N.R.A. or Gun Owners TODAY!
