| | Convert the gun to 40SW. .357Auto is based on the .40 casing (bottlenecked for a 9mm). Their are two many differences between a Glock 19 and a Glock 32 to make it worthwhile. Turn your .357 into a .40 Auto. it's cheaper, easier, and .40 Auto is reasonably priced. I would have never bought into the .357Auto gimmick to begin with due to it's uncessary development and limited varieties. |
| User: Corvo | | There are kits available from several sources that sell for around $250. It's a hunk at first, but it will save you money if you shoot much. | | | | User: david m | | Convert the gun to 40SW. .357Auto is based on the .40 casing (bottlenecked for a 9mm). A lot of manufacturers make conversion barrels I really like kkm's or bar-sto's but they'll run you around $200 but lone wolf offers them for about 1/2 the price http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Products.aspx?CAT=241
Some people feel as though you need to change the trigger housing cause it has a slightly different ejector. However I have never had a problem and don't feel that it's totally necessary just for practice, but here's the part it's only 5 bucks if you want to go all the way. http://www.brownells.com/aspx/NS/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=23034&title=Trigger+Housing+w%2fEjector&s=49347#49347. Just for the record, it is extremely easy do a caliber converson on any glock pistol They're very few differences between the models, It's basically SMALL FRAME or LARGE FRAME and almost all parts are identical on those. A g32 is a compact small frame glock just like the g19 and g23. In order to make a fully functional glock 23 out of your 32 you would need to change the barrel and the magazine followers only, and like changing the trigger housing it isn't very critical to change followers. When converting a glock in most cases all you need is a drop in barrel and that's it. Any glock can be converrted to another caliber. 9mm glocks can be converted to fire .380, 9x21, and 30 luger. 40 S&W's to fire .357sig and 9mm. 10mm's to fire 9x21, 9x23, .40 S&W, and 357sig. 45 acp's to fire 400 Corbon, and 40 Super ammo.
If you really want to shoot cheap you can gonvert your glock to fire 22lr http://www.glockworld.com/22lr.htm | | | | User: old fuzz | | You might just be better off selling or trading in the 32 for a mdl 22 (.40 cal) or a mdl 17 (9mm) instead of messing about with conversion kits. | | | | User: H | | It can be done but like Dave M said your best bet is to go with the .40 S & W conversion.
Best.
H | | | | User: pathfinder | | I pesonnally would either get a new Glock in 9mm. Converting back and forth is a hassle, and it doesn't do anything good for the gun either with all this disassembly. | | |
