I am thinking about getting one today.I have a Glock 21 and I really like it but it is just a little too big for concealed carry. Is the 30 as good as the 21.One of the other reasons I want it is because I have many Hi cap mags for my 21 that will work in the 30 and I have lots of 45 ammo.

Well Glock is not my first choice in handgun... But the 30 is exactly the same as the 21, just smaller.

Personally I wouldn't own a Glock. There are far superior firearms out there IE: Sig, HK, Kimber. But I guess it boils down to personal preference.

good morning curt. may i ask if you have or need a permit for your weapons where you live? personally i think that unless you are a collector, guns are a very serious issue.i hope that you are responsible with your choices.

My buddy bought the Glock 30. He loves it and it actually seems to have softer felt recoil than the glock 21 due in part to the dual recoil springs. It's still the wide body, but as far as shootability it's a great gun, plus all the great things about Glock.

The Glock Model 21-SF might not conceal any better than the regular Model 21 but it may fit your hand better. Look at this one while you're there. The Model 30 works just like the 21 except that it is smaller so it'll buck and roar more. Best. H
