| Review that Glock on the blogs for jamming and misfires.
They may have resolved that issue by now. |

| The good news is the Kimber is tested to fire 20,000 rounds.
Of course, that is only good news if you plan on firing that many.
I would think about how much you actually plan on using it. If if is just for carrying, and you aren't that much into range shooting, save your money and get the Glock. If you think you will be going to the range on a regular basis, you can probably justify twice the cost with the Kimber. |

| Both are very nice but go for the Glock.
I've had a 27 for 5 years now as a back-up and off-duty weapon and it has been reliable as anything I've ever owned. Very concealable and adaptable to full size magazines. with a mdl.23 magazine and spacer you have a sub compact pistol with the capacity of a large framed weapon.
I am a big fan of 1911 pistols and carry a Springfield as my duty weapon. But the Glock is very adaptable. |

| Kimbers are overpriced and glocks suck all around. I would not recommend either. For around $250.00 you can get a Cent Star BM 9mm. A great gun for the money. |

| I'd go with the Glock. Kimbers are overpriced and alot of people have had problems with them. Glocks are pretty solid and rugged. |

| If price is a barrier, think about a used reconditioned one from a reputable gunsmith. Also think about the resale value. It ties your cash up but the cost of something is the original cost minus what you sell it for eventually. |

| The Glocks are designed for one thing, to protect your hide. They are no beauties. I like the Glocks for what they are designed to do. |

| Check out the Springfield XD's (9mm, .40 or .45) Price is about $540 - $580. The XD's have loaded chamber and striker status (cocked) indicators, as well as a grip safety. It feels a lot more natural in the hand than the Glock. ( to me anyway...) |
