I plan to purchase on of these. I would greatly appreciate advice and comparisons between them. I would like one compact enough for concealed carry, so I think this would probably rule out the 21? Also, how do the G30 and Springfield XD Compact compare in size? Thanks.

Some really expensive stuff, like hydro shocks, work great, but they are about $1 per shot! I've been shooting a bunch of ammo my friend's grandfather gave me, but it keeps causing strange errors like poor feeds and stovepipe jams. What is the best ammo, for the money, for a generation 1 Glock model 21 in .45 ACP. Thanks!

I use the winchester ammo you can get from walmart 100 rnds for like 25 bucks, its 240gr ball ammo but it is good for practice and is little cheaper than the hydros and such, and my 21 loves it, slightly newer than a first gen but still works the same, also ya might want to check or replace your magizine springs or have a gunsmith polish the loading ramp, should help with the stovepiping

I realize the 21 is a standard .45 ACP w/ 13 round capacity vs the subcompact 30 with 10 rounds. Otherwise, what are the major differences in terms of their feel and performance? I'd appreciate info from anyone familiar with both models. Thanks.

The size is the only difference on these handguns. The controllability is the major factor. The 30 is way too small to effectively control with a .45ACP, in my opinion. Other than that Glocks are a poor choice for a handgun. There are several weapons out there that are much more accurate, durable, safe and trustworthy, for a lot less $.

Posted this question earlier, but no gave the name of a company that sells INTERNAL lasers for the glock that do not blink on & off. I dont really want an external laser.

Sorry.But Glock doesn't come with any other brand of INTERNAL laser but LaserMax. The only other type available is a grip mounted laser (Externally mounted) This is why you were advised and recommended the Crimson Trace to begin with. along with it's quality and dependable operation.....As I said earlier I haven't changed my opinion..LaserMax is and always will be an expensive piece of JUNK......

I've researched this a bit and everybody says lasermax internal sights are junk and I should go with the crimson trace but I went to their website and they dont show one for the 21 model. Does anybody make one and where can I get one??
