go with the H&K...the Glock isnt much of a gun...its blocky,not very ergonomic and is hard to handle....H&K 's are probably some of the finest pistols out there

Making up my mind between the two. Any feedback on the lasermax gun sight for the Glock 26? Is it a constant light or does it just blink every once in a while?

Okay, there are 3 size catagories of 9mm glock Full size - Glock 17 Compact - Glock 19 Subcompact - Glock 26 There are also 3 size catagories of 9mm sig Full size - Sig 226 Compact - Sig 229, Sig 250 Slimline - Sig 239 (discontinued SIG 225) See, the subcompact Glock26 has a short barrel and a very very short grip, but is as thick as all the others. The Sig slim pistols have the same length barrel as the compact, and the same length grip, but the grip is a lot slimmer. Hence you are comparing apples to oranges. A more apples to apples comparison would be Sig 229 vs Glock 19. Between those two, it is pretty much personal prefrence. They are both good guns, but in my opinion the Sig is a bit nicer. Of course, you pay a bit more for it too. I personally find the grip of the Glock 26 too short, and would rather have 8 shots in a slim grip than 10 shots in a fat short grip, regardless of maker. The lazermax gun sight is a constant beam of lazer, but there is a switch to turn it on located on the slide release.

I have a Glock 26 . I have shot it 20 times at a shooting range and the rest of the time its been in its case. I want to sell it to a gun store and was wondering how much I would get for it and if its worth it. Its in great condition

If you take it to a gun store you will get about half of what you paid for it. If you take it to a pawn shop you will get about 1/10th of what you paid for it. If you advertise it on the Internet you might get about 3/4th of what you paid for it. If you try to sell it in the newspaper you will get people coming to your house that will try to rob you of it and all the things you have in your house.

I have a Glock 26 and I just bought a Pearce Grip extended magazine (holds 3 extra rounds). Anyway, having problems popping out the old bottom plate so that I can put the new one on. Anyone have a solution? Thanks

You will need the armorer's tool, a nail, or a punch. They're is a right way but I can never get it that way. http://youtube.com/watch?v=rJq_gYUPqQU what I normally do is stick the punch in and press the corner of the mag firmy down on the corner of a table or something with an edge. Just watch your knuckles.

From what I have read, people state they like Glocks better because they are Glocks, which isn't really a valid reason. I have heard that KAHRs are pricey, but the difference doesn't seem to be an issue--for me. I realize the Glocks may have more magazine capacity; yet, the KAHRs are lighter and thinner. With this said, what is the best CCW Weapon, KAHR PM9 or Glock 19, 26 or 34? One would know that I am in the market for a 9 mm, but I would appreciate reasons for another caliber. Again, price is not an issue; CCW is.... I will appreciate any experienced advice and will ignore the Anti-NRA people and/or kids.

I have a kahr CW9, priced about the same as a glock, the kahr is shorter, slimmer and much easier to conceal and has a much smoother (although slightly heavier) trigger pull. However it has more recoil and barrel climb, which goes for anything that’s smaller and lighter. The kahrs handle is a little narrow and the trigger guard could be longer for my long fingers. Accuracy is on par with the glock, I can average a 3" group @ 9yrds and its dead on with a point and shoot draw w/out using sights. As for the PM9 I have heard both good and bad, apparently its had more problems than other kahr models, I personally would be worried about making quick follow up shots with the pm/km (also why I opted for the 9mm over the .40), the larger cw9 (same size as p9) is pretty snappy for 9mm, really likes to climb. I'm used to a sig pro in .40 and .357 sig and a p220 .45acp and find both easier to control for rapid shots, but for concealed carry the kahr is extremely comfortable and after a little practice completely controllable. As for mag cap. If this is a concealed carry gun and you end up using it, you shouldn’t need more than a couple of rounds to get the job done. for me the 9mm (+P+ JHP for carry) is a good round, I don’t believe that a larger caliber is a substitute for good shot placement and +P+ 9mm are pretty close to .40 s&w for stopping power and the Kahr is +P+ rated, I still haven’t seen a glock that was +P rated and .40s&w in glocks have had some issues (that would be the nice way of saying .40 glocks like to explode). If you’re looking for a gun to take to the range and put a few hundred rounds through on a regular basis and carry, the glock may be the better fit for you. If you’re looking for something very concealable but also accurate the kahr is the better weapon, IE the glock is a better all around gun, the kahr is designed for one purpose (concealed carry) and in that purpose far surpasses the glock. A good concealed carry gun for you is whatever you are more comfortable with, more accurate with, and trained the most with. went through a couple of local kahr dealers today, one has stopped carrying the pm40 because of customers complaints on controlablity, and the other doesnt carry any of the M line becasue of reliablity problems, the standerd size kahrs (p9,p40,k9,k40,cw9,cw40,p45) are still flawless. and if you end up with a kahr be aware of the 200 round break in period, mine was flawless unless I rode the slide (held the slide a little to long while racking). break in periods are common on highend pistols built to tight tolerences, my sigs were more like 500 rounds. glocks are built loose (not a bad thing in a 9mm) so no breakin period although it can compromise accuracy but not enough for the average shooter to notice.

Any suggestions I am figuring out between a glock (9mm any model preferably compact) or the smithe and wesson sw9ve. Which one is better, personal experience and any other polymer gun suggestions in the same price range (500-600$). Sigs and H&K are nice but to much money unless you know of one I haven't seen.

I own SW40VE and I've owned 9mm and 40 cal glocks. I prefer 40 over 9. But to answer your question, over all the glock is probably a better weapon (clips for glocks you can get for $15). For the price range however, the Sigma would be a good choice depending on your budget. Sigma's are around $150.00 - $200.00 less than Glocks. The Sigma is a good firearm for the price and couldn't be happier with mine. Smith & Wesson also have good promotions. Purchase a Sigma or a M&P between June 1st 2007 - July 31st 2007 and get 2 free 10 or 14 or 16 (depending on caliber) magazines!!!! Also another promotion for free Range Bag!!!!! You can't argue with a brand new S&W w/2 clips for $300.00 (after tax) along w/2 more free clips and a range bag and a Lifetime warranty. Or you can pay $450-$500 Glock w/2 clips only and limited warranty. Good luck with your pick.
