by Yahoo Answers: | → | →Between a Glock 32/32c and a Glock 33 which is better? | | 2007-06-26 19:59:37 | | I am going to getting my concealed weapons permit in the upcoming months and was leaning towards buying the Glock 32 or 32c, but I am wondering if that would be too bulky to conceal as opposed to the Glock 33. Obviously the magazine is bigger in the 32 and if there is really no major size difference, then I would probably go with the Glock 32 or Glock 32c.
This is going to be my first gun purchase so as if anyone has any recommendations on that too, feel free to share them. I want something that packs a punch(preferably over 9mm), but still has good control and is small enough to conceal without drawing unwanted attention. I was looking at the compact and sub-compact models by HK and Glock because I know they make quality weapons that last. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated because I want to be very satisfied with my final decision . Thanks!! | | Answered By: gretsch16pc
| | The 357 Sig. is a great round but even though it's been around for a few years now you still can not find that ammo at Wal-Mart or K-Mart, etc. only the big sporting goods stores like Gander Mt., Dicks, etc.
So my pick would be the G27 in the 40S&W, you can find ammo for that just about anywhere and a by far bigger selection.
| → | →Glock 32 Conversion? | | 2008-01-12 17:29:29 | | i have a glock 32 i want to convert it to a 40. S&W were can i get a barrel for around 100.00$$$$
thanks guys
and is it as simple as just droping the barrel in? it seems there should be more. is it same i can shoot 40 s&w i just have to change the barrel??????? | | Answered By: pathfinder
| | Lone wolf make an excellent .40S&W barrel for the Glock model 23, which is the compact version of the glock mod. 22. The Glock model 32 is the same as the Glock model 23 except for its caliber. Click the link below. This barrel is a drop in barrel, requiring no gunsmithing, and can shoot lead bullets all day long, and is suppose to be able to shoot like a match grade barrel. The polygonal original barrel is "oversized "in the chamber, and using lead bullets is not recommended.

| → | →i have a glock 32? | | 2007-10-15 20:32:49 | | i have a glock 32 i want to convert it to a 9mm how can i and how much does it cost? the 357 sig. cost way to much to shoot so i want to convert it can i? and how | | Answered By: david m | |
| | Convert the gun to 40SW. .357Auto is based on the .40 casing (bottlenecked for a 9mm). Their are two many differences between a Glock 19 and a Glock 32 to make it worthwhile. Turn your .357 into a .40 Auto. it's cheaper, easier, and .40 Auto is reasonably priced. I would have never bought into the .357Auto gimmick to begin with due to it's uncessary development and limited varieties. | |
| → | →Glock 23 vs. Glock 32. Which has worse recoil? | | 2007-04-12 18:00:21 | | I need a compact pistol for self defense and because I live in NJ (not to gun friendly of a state) I cannot rent pistols before I buy them. Which caliber offers more effective stopping power? which has worse recoil? | | Answered By: Low Pro | |
| | Bhwahahaha! she doesn't know what shes talking about. although the two weapons she metioned are very concealable.
I think Glocks are the ugliest MoFo guns. But, THey are definitely reliable. Not the best, but certainly reliable. Most police officers lives depend on it; here and over seas! I jsut bought my sister a G26
40 cal vs .357 hmm
Well based on what you have written I take it that you dont have much experience on the weapons and the calibers they shoot.
In the old days, the ".357" Dirty Harry type of thing was the "in thing" It was true then and its still holds that the .357 is a manstopper load. But with the development of new loads
the .40 will still drop a man any time.
Whats the point of having a .357 if you can't control the recoil. Chances are you might miss. I'd rather you be able hit the person 2 to 6 times center mass consecutively if needed, than miss on the first shot..... you might not get another.
So for you I'd advice the .40 cal (G23) should have less kick than the 357 (G32) . You should also consider the .45 cal G30
An answer above mentioned "weak wrist". You can do some excercises to strengthen your wrist.
Part of my training before was specifically for wrist strenghtening-
get a small sledge hammer and hold it tightly perpendicular to your forearm just like holding a gun. smash down a couple of rocks the size of a bowling ball. do this every 2 days and you will see the difference after 2 to 3 weeks when you go to the range.
hope this helps. and Practice, practice, practice
| → | →I have a glock 32 with 357sig & 40cal barrels. Can you also use a model 19 barrel & mags for another caliber? | | 2007-12-28 18:59:42 | | | Answered By: boker_magnum | |
| | NO! the tolerances of the 40sw and 357sig barrels are identical, the model 19 is a smaller OD and won't fit properly. | |
| → | →is the kick that bad on a glock 32? | | 2008-03-20 12:01:53 | | should it be manageable for a larger built male that is probably stronger than average or do you have to be like extremely strong to shoot a gun like this with accuracy, even on follow up shots | | Answered By: evo741hpr3 | |
| | No problem at all.
Strength has little to do with managing recoil and placing a accurate follow up. My wife weights 100 pounds even, and she accurately shoots calibers up to .44 mag. Experience is the key.
