Adam, Just because the 21 & the 36 are .45 doesn't matter. What matters is what is your purpose for the specific model. Do you want to conceal, competition, home defence or just plinking. Take the fit of your palm around the grip in to consideration. I have a 21 for all the above if you read down below. I couldn't be any happier. If you have a range nearby with the guns you want test them and as the range officer questions about his experince with that gun in particulaar. Like reliability, maintanance accuracy, wear and tear.
