Bought two days ago for plainclothes concealed carry, broken in yesterday with 200 rs. of FMJ hardball during which I experienced a total of 4 failures....2 failures to feed and 2 failures to eject......both occuring in the first 150 rds. No failures after that. I then fired 18 rds. (I have 3 mags) of Fiocchi 230 gr. JHP and having experienced no failures I loaded with Federal 165 gr. Hydra-shocks and consider my 36 ready for duty carry. The ogive profile of the Fiocchi and the Federal match as best I can eyeball, hence the confidence to carry a load I've yet to try in this piece.
The gun came with factory adjustable sights (not my choice but I was anxious to buy) that proved no problem to work with, but they'll most likely be replaced with night sites (possibly adj.) soon. My other Glock is a model 27 but I was looking for more knockdown and a slimmer profile for better concealability. |
