Review Summary: Glock-36

Glocks get Better and Better
Reviewed By on Aug 20 2003
Manufacturer: Glock
The good qualities: Easy to grasp and control. Recoil is manageable. The best part is it works everytime. Just small enough to be concealable.
The bad qualities: Nothing bad to report. They could have made the grip a quarter of an inch longer like the Mdl. 19 and added another round or two to the magazine.
In a NutShell: Make a Mdl. 36 with 7 or 8+1 capacity and a titanium slide to save weight and you would have a real winner.

Review Detail:

I have been shooting a Mdl. 19 for over ten years and found it to be very reliable. However I wanted a 45. Tried the Mdl. 21 but it was too big The Mdl. 30 seemed out of proportion for me also. The Mdl. 36 is "just right". I have about 500 rnds through mine so far without a problem. Seems to like Federal Hydra-shocks. Great gun for legal concealed carry. This one shoots straight. I don't miss the Hi-cap mags of the Mdl. 19., however I don't plan to get rid of them any time soon.
