Review Summary: Glock-23

G23 Is For Me
Reviewed By SGTF109 on Aug 28 2003
Manufacturer: Glock
The good qualities: Quality craftsmanship, decent market pricing, pointability, dependability, accuracy, easy to spot stock sights, ergonomics, durability and great out of the box trigger pull (5.5lbs).
The bad qualities: Plastic sights should be metal. Guide rod should be metal.
In a NutShell: If your looking for an all around CCW weapon, housegun or range gun its hard to beat the Glock 23. I put my life on the Glock 23 everyday.

Review Detail:

For the money the Glock 23 is a fine firearm and I always recommend people to buy them. I have had mine now for about 6 months and it hasn't let me down yet. I have had good results on the range as well. Never had my G23 stovepipe or misfire. As far as the .40 S&W cal. Glocks kaBooming, that is just the anti-Glock folks starting rumors. Anytime a Glock has gone kaBoom its generally caused by unseated or defective ammunition. The Glock 23 fits my hand well and has a low bore to axis fitting to the hand. Other than a few pet pevs I have a few with the Glock 23, it is my carry gun on the streets.
