Review Detail:

I did a lot of research and tried a few pistols before choosing the 23. It had everything I wanted: more compact than a full-size, a four inch barrel, inexpensive high-cap mags with total capacity 14 rounds, rugged construction, and a great reputation to back it all up. The limited edition OD green frame didn't hurt either. At first I hesitated, because the slide release and mag release seemed difficult to operate, but after spending some time with the pistol I have zero difficulty with it. It shoots much more accurately than I am capable of firing it. Overall just a fantastic piece of engineering.
