Review Detail:

After the State Police purchased nearly 1,200 Glocks, our agency has suffered through numerous malfunctions. Mostly failure to feed and some double feeds. Glock has been working on the problem for approximately 4 weeks with no answers and our troopers are still being issued these weapons for primary duty use. Any Glock problem solvers with suggestions to fix these weapons? I know the first response is to stop issuing this weapon, but ranking officers think the problem can be solved before a trooper has a failure during a gunfight. Our failure rate is around 20%.

I have carried a model 22 for 10 plus years and shoot our states POST course almost once a month alomg with recreational shooting and have yet to have a jam or a malfunction. Probably 80 % of our dept carrys a Glock and I have heard of very few problems with them, and our dept is very particular about what brand weapons we can carry. As a matter of fact, I carry a model 27 as a back up weapon and have never had a problem with that one either.
