I put 283 of the cheapest, dirtiest rounds through mine last night and there wasn't even a hint of malfunction. I love the DAO. Its a joy to shoot and a breeze to clean. Truly a well designed combat pistol.

I have slowly been buying more and more handguns. This 17 is the original and I see why there are so many that fell in love with this one. Quick follow-up shots, mag capacity and ease of cleaning and maintenance are all reasons why this is one of my favorite handguns.

i just bought a new G17 and i feel great about it. check out the movie badboys2... Will Smith uses 2 tone G17 on his both hands. That's cool!!! GLOCK17 RULES!!!! :)

The first semi-auto I ever bought was a Glock 17 1st generation around 1990. It NEVER misfired, NEVER failed to eject, and NEVER failed to feed. I think I put about 1000-5000 rounds through it. I sold it two years later because I needed the money. I miss it. I want another one.

Never a fan of the 9mm, but vowed that if I ever did buy one, it would be a pre-ban hi cap. Can't see the point of 10 rounds of 9mm. Found one for $300 in mint shape. Put it this way..I now carry it every day. It's accuracy and reliablilty run circles around by "big bores" and for a hell of a lot less money! I'd take that double stack full of Speer Gold Dots into the gates of hell, and fell well armed.
