Great pistol. I have owned many pistols that are on the market and this one outshines them all. I don't know if its the simplicity of the weapon or what it is, but accuracy, dependability, and the confidence this gun brings is second to NONE. I shoot the heavy bullets (180gr). Same weight, different brands. And they all perform well. I would not want to be on the other end of this weapon. The absolute best value for the money. No doubt. If you have the $500 or so, you cant go wrong. You have to trust me on this one folks!

Newbies will experience a little "jolt' on first fire, but it will quickly become natural. GREAT WEAPON!

I own, and carry as a duty weapon, the Glock Model 22. No bells and whistles, just a simple factory Glock. When asked, I always recommend the Glock to new and seasoned shooters. The pistol is lightweight, accurate right out of the box, and is a better overall pistol than anything else you'll ever shoot.

After reading the review from the individual who described the recent problems his state police agency suffered with the G-22, I thought I would share a similar experience. The agency I work for recenlty purchased 350 G-22s. We faced same problems with failure to feed malfunctions. During a 50 round qualification course my weapon failed to feed 5 times. My partners weapon failed 7 times. Needless to say our guns are going back and we are going with the G-17s. The problem appears to be with the G-22 exclusively. So far the G-17s we have been issued have not had a single malfunction. Still no word from Glock what the problem is.

After the State Police purchased nearly 1,200 Glocks, our agency has suffered through numerous malfunctions. Mostly failure to feed and some double feeds. Glock has been working on the problem for approximately 4 weeks with no answers and our troopers are still being issued these weapons for primary duty use. Any Glock problem solvers with suggestions to fix these weapons? I know the first response is to stop issuing this weapon, but ranking officers think the problem can be solved before a trooper has a failure during a gunfight. Our failure rate is around 20%.
