alienshooter-Dec 22 2003 I have shot well over 10,000 rounds through this out standing weapon over the last 3 years and have yet to have a repair of any kind done. I have had maybe 4 to 6 failure to feeds and 2 to 3 times the slide failed to lock back after the last round was fired. All ammo related I believe. It is easy to carry all day long even with a full mag of ammo due to it's light weight. Easy to control with low recoil excellent gun for females and small hands. It may not be classed as the most powerful gun around but it's accuracy and easy shooting characteristics makes it simple to drop 124 gr hydro-shock right between the eyes of the bad guy. Details..

-Nov 13 2003 This is simply one of the best weapons on the market. It's the perfect mixture of quality and accuracy. I've owned my Glock 19 for a few years now and in my opinion, no other gun can compete in a 'total package' arena. I use this for my duty weapon and my SWAT team secondary weapon. The reliability is simply unmatched. Details..

-Oct 27 2003 All "authorized" Arizona County Probation Officers and Surveillance Officers are being armed with Glock Mod 19 pistols. Just finished a one week shooting academy in Kingman, AZ. Fired over 1000 rounds of Federal 115 grain ball ammo. Cleaned weapon at 600 rds for first time. ZERO malfunctions at any time.
Had previously been a Beretta fan, Mod 92F. I was very impressed with accuracy and smoothness of the Glock. The magazines are cheap plastic and could be better but they functioned. Barely could get 15th round inserted into magazine, but should improve as springs loosen up a bit. Accuracy was exceptional. Will be carrying Federal JHP +P+ 115grn. Details..

-Oct 4 2003 Bought my first Glock (19) 5 years ago after sampling
Ruger, Browning, and Sig. I shot a short break-in of
500 rounds (cleaning after every 50 rnds). I then went
for 500 rounds, without cleaning, to see if there would
be any crud related failures. At 375 rounds fired the 19
had a fialure to feed. Upon closer inspection it was
determined that excess buildup on the feedramp was
the cause. Completed a full reclean of the 19 and then
polished the feedramp mostly because I could. Took
it back out for a 500 round no clean run and proceded
to have a perfect 500 run, no failures. Since the
purpose of this weapon is carry, I then, without
cleaning ran 200 rnds of +P+ ammo NO FAILS. Details..

pistolier-Oct 2 2003 Over all satisfactory handgun especialy in concel carry but does not match the relaibility, accuracy and servicability that of beretta or sig.
The synthetic frame gives abit less sureness in rough carry or one can say in combat situations. Most people know that they are carrying a plastic frame gun so they take abit more care in handling than the respctive metal frame handguns and thats the reason why a great number of structure failures are not encountered.
It is admitted fact that they are well behind 1911A1, SIG (to an extent from beretta also).
But in general nice cheap and easy to carry gun which are less prone to swet and all other wheather wear and tears. Details..

-Sep 6 2003 Good cheap gun, and 9MM versions will not blow up on you. The 19 is the gun to get in 9MM because the 17 is just a tad large for a 9MM I think. Even if Glock slaps the 19 together and screws up the metalergy in the slide, you should be ok. Good cheap gun, and very well designed single action. The C model can be improved even more with a Buffer Technologies buffer to reduce recoil even further, and why bother replacing the recoil spring guide on the 9MM, or even the spring weight? Just improve function with the extended slide release, and maybe a 3.5 lb target trigger mod for even more "TP Details..
