-Feb 5 2004 I purchased my Glock 23 in May of 2003. I have since put at least 1000 rounds down range and I absolutely love it. It's ergonomic feel, the accuracy and the user-friendly design make it all the more enjoyable. It's super easy to clean and maintain, and it's now a part of my morning routine to add my Glock 23 to everything that I carry on me. I highly recommend the Glock 23 to anyone. I am so pleased with it, I will be purchasing the G27 to accompany it, along with a G26 for my wife to carry and keep at the house. Excellent piece of weaponry, for a great price. Hats off to Gaston Glock. Details..

g23mike-Jan 6 2004 Originally I was going to buy a M1911 until I started researching the Glock. I personally don't like the stock sights and am planning on upgrading to Trijicon sights and purchasing a light to mount on it. I don't see any reason to change anything else. Details..

mako-Dec 20 2003 This is without a doubt the best damn gun I have ever owned and had the pleasure to shoot, and I own and have owned a lot of differnt guns. Just got mine 2day. I put 150 rounds through it without a burp, I'll be really impressed when I've put at least 1000 through it with the same result.
The gun fits my hand like a glove and is very accurate. My only pet peeves are that I don't like the sights;cheap plastic, nor do I care for the bucket dot set up. No big deal though, got a set of meprolight tritiums that the smith at my local range will be installing tomorrow.
The second peeve is that because the grip is plastic, the gun has a tendency to slip in my hand when my palms get sweaty. Again, no big deal. I remedied this situation by putting on a set of Decalgrip adhesive grips with the Details..

I carry my 23 as my duty weapon i'm a police officer. I have shot against sig, smith, h&k and after about 600rd of fireing in 90-100 weather they started to jam and missfire the glock never did.I fired 1500 round without cleaning it before i had a missfire, this was during rookie school. this is a 5 starr weapon. the other weapons had to be cleaned after about 600-800 rounds. I have fired this weapon in all types of weather and it is very dependable. Details..

-Oct 27 2003 Just bought my first Glock 2 weeks ago. I've only put 50 rounds through it (the day I bought it), but they were the closest 50 rounds I've ever put in a target. Glock makes one hell of a gun. What happened to the Q&A forum????? Details..

-Sep 2 2003 hey guys, i have a 1911 and am considering stepping up to a G-23 i am almost 100 % sure i want it. but there are always nay-sayers... like co workers. i have one guy telling me about an 1/8th of an inch of the back end of the casing sticks out of the breech when the round is loaded. i dont really think this is something to be concerned about, or is it. is it even true? i have already picked up a box of starfires' and intend to have a lot of fun with this gun. i do believe i will be getting it. i guess, i just want a second opinion on the breech b/s.....of course this guy owns a sig. i dont find much grace or elegance in the sig. now, the glock on the other hand... thats a different story.
