the 9mm thing....my friend that got shot at repoing a car he was shot at with glock 19 which is a 9mm (i dont know about the 26) hit his door and didnt even go through the power is a considerable difference if you shoot with 9 its gonna take a few the glock 40 is truly a great gun the reciol is not that bad plus when your shooting a guy your not gonna be able to tell a difference

thats all for the g27, also the trijicon sights are worth the money there a little spendy but my accuracy went up even during the daytime figure that

for the holster i love milt sparks sharkskin and galco makes some inside the pants holsters both realy nice www.miltsparks.com www.usgalco.com as for the night sights i love my trijicons get the green ones thats what the cops say that i talk too i love mine and i love my magazine extender for the pinky defenately a great investment

I've carried my G-27 as back up and off duty for awhile now. I hardley feel it in my vest and forget I have it sometimes in my civiy's. The other day I had to pull it out off duty. Some crack head stuck a knife in my face and said, "gimme your walet" I reached back for my wallet but came out with my giznat.
The 27 was so small the dumb ass crack head thought it was my wallet. He reached out for me to hand it to him!! I had to stick it in his face before he realized what it was. My cell phone got the boys there quick. Now he's doing time for attempt armed 211 on a cop. I love G-27, best compact hand gun I know! Check out my web sight www.bustacrackhead.com

hey sean, this is just my opinion of course but i would go for the 27. beleive me the recoil felt is nothin. i keep venturing to tell people that my 27 kicks the same as a 9mm. also on the extensions, i believe that the pearce grip is far better than the scherer. the scherer is usually a little bigger, but the pearce matches the gun better and just plain looks better. just another piece of info, the pearce grip extension for the model 27 is actually a plus one extension. i didnt realize this until i fit 10 rounds in the mag. cool huh! but the pearce extension for the 26 is only a finger extension, not a plus one. its also a little different looking. good luck man GLOCK ON

Why should I get a G27 over teh G26? Is the recoil felt in the .40 significantly more than in the 9mm?
BTW - Pierce or Schreier grip extensions??

i love my 27. just bought it and it kicks ass over any other gun ive ever had or shot. my only fear is that i heard you should never shoot lead rounds out of a glock and to stay away from 180gr bullets. is this true? or B.S.
