-Aug 12 2003 My experience with this gun was a good one. I bought it over 8 months ago, and was sceptical cause 45 cal. are a bit much than I want to handle for home protection and true accuracy. Once out on the range, it felt like I was holding a 9mm, but sounded like a .45. It will not jam, its easy to clean, and the accuracy for this gun is awesome. Its the ideal personal/home weapon and its factory safety features are outstanding. Details..

-Aug 1 2003 As a defensive firearms instructors we tell students only hits count. The GLOCK 36 delivers the hits at both combat distance and out to 25 yards with no difficulty. The gun is compact, and with just 1/10th of an inch of trigger reset between shots this gun delivers 7 rounds of 45 ACP on target in record time. Reloading is easy and fast. Add night sights and an extended slide catch and you have a fighting tool that is hard to beat . You can add a Plus1 magazine extention --- but for me it compromises your ability to conceal the gun. Besides if have not taken your target down with 7 rounds you need more practice on the range. As a back-up I simply carry a spare mag Details..

-Jul 25 2003 Bought it Monday (07/21/03). Put 300rds of 230gr FMJ (Win white box, UMC, generic reloads), 50 rds of 230gr JHP (Win) and 20 rds of 200gr +P Gold Dots GDHP. Had 3 FTE with the FMJ probably due to limpwristing. No problems with the JHP or Gold Dots. The Gold Dots were a little abusive to my wrist. Nothing that can't be corrected by technique (grip, stance, etc). I'm very happy with the G36. So happy that I'm giving up 32rds (current carry preClinton G19) with 14rds. It will be replacing my G19 on my hip IWB once I get 1000rds through it (which is very soon). The G19 is being retired to home\car duty. Details..

michael-Mar 28 2003 I have fired about 1000 rounds through my G36 and initally thought I had several problems with it. Failure to feed, and the slide going home on an empty magazine. After several trips to the gun shop and a purchase of the "GLOCK" magazine, I have come to the
conclusion that it was my grip which was causing the failure to feed. The problem with the magazine was that I was not seating it with enough authority when changing magzines causing it to allow the slide lock/release to not catch. After adjusting my grip properly, I have not had a single failure to feed and insuring the magazine is seated properly has made my Glock 36 a real pleasure to shoot. The weight is comfortable and the slim design insures it is very easy to conceal. I do not believe the extra size and weight of the G30 are eno Details..

-Jun 3 2002 I just bought my Glock 36 tonight. I've been carrying a S&W 4013 since I got my CCW years ago, and the weight difference alone is significant, even loaded with 230GR Hydra-Shock. Feels great in my (large) hand, feels even better on my side. I use a Bianchi Model 6 IWB holster that fits like a glove. Details..
