I find the Glock 21 to be very accurate,comfortable,and reliable. I have experienced a small problem, however. The last round from the 10 rnd magazine stovepipes from time to time. Is this a magazine problem or is there something wrong with the pistol which I should be concerned about. Any suggestions on a cure. Contact me at daveuncledave@aol.com Thanks

To WLM: Is it just me, or is anybody else sick of people comparing the Glock 21 to the 1911? One side or the other is always praising their favorite gun or saying just how terrible the other one is. The fact of the matter is that both guns are very reliable, durable, and simple to maintain. My suggestion to everybody is, don't listen to some know-it-all gun guy. Research them both on your own and factor in your own wants, needs, and price range, then decide.

The Glock 21 suffers from several drawbacks. Almost all of these are addresed by after market or qualified gunsmithing.
1. Trigger pull - can be made about 3.5 pounds - not the 8 or so
2. Trigger feel can be made as good or almost as good as 1911 by replacement with an aluminum trigger assembly
3. Replacing the plastic recoil spring guide with a titanium one and Wolff springs gives better reliability and consistent cycling
4. There are other procedures to make this firearm smoother and safer.
Once these have been completed it is very good as a carry-competition weapon system.
It will never be as strong or as safe as a 1911

I AM A 45ACP COLLECTOR THE GLOCK 21 AND THE H@K 45 ARE THE TWO BEST BY FAR BUT THE SIG 220 IS NOT FAR BEHIND THEY ALL SHOT NICE BUY PRICE WISE THE GLOCK 21 IS THE BEST BUY FOR THE MONEY BUT IF MONEY IS NOT THE PROBLEM GET THE SIG OR H@K ANY OF THESE IS A VERY GOOD PISTOL HELL GET ALL THREE THANKS TELLING IT LIKE ITS TRULY MIKE

I have had a G17, G17C, G19, G21, G30 and G34. The G21 is probrably the best duty weapon there is, if you have medium or large hands. The only additions I would make are night sights, Hogue Grip, and a backstrap channel insert. I have shot nearly 10000 rounds through my G21 and I have never had a problem other than crappy ammo. If you want the best Hi Cap .45 out there-- get the 21.

I have a Glock 21, shoots great, I would go one better and get a Glock 21C. Never heard of any Glock "blow ups". Hold em and squeeze em all you Glock shooters.

The 21 is a great gun. I love how easily the M3 Tac Light goes on and off.
I wish Glock would make a slim single-stack version, much like they did for the G30 when they came out with the G36.

I bought my first Glock 21 and loved it. Accuracy and dependability was exceptional....until the barrel failed and the gun exploded in my hand. Upon sending the gun to glock they (of course) blamed the problem on the ammo.
They offered to sell me a new glock at cost and never returned the gun to me (thank god I took photos).
Since I have told others about this, I have heard other stories about this happening with other models of glocks. It seems they have an inherent design flaw that they are trying to cover up. If you have had a similar problem with a Glock, please contact me at pozobuck@aol.com.
