I traded my HK compact(45cal) for a glock 23 and
would never go back to HK. Also traded
my HK USP Expert 45cal for a Glock 22(40cal), and
Glock 21(45cal) and my shooting scores went
up to Masters!

I fuckin hate HK pistols. They are no comparison when it come to the Glock 23 40 SW. I have owned my for about 4yrs now. I have put thousands of rounds thru it. I have not had one single jam or misfire. What people fail to realize is that the glock 17 has fired about 347,000 rounds without a jam or misfire. What does that tell you about the rest of their pistols. I would say about 70% of law enforcemnt personnell is using that pistol. I would gamble that pistol with my life 365 days a year 24hrs 7 days a week. This goes out to Glock hater, you are smoking some good shit, because HK pistols are overpriced and are no way nearly reliable or durable.

The truth is out there and it is in this case: you have enough to worry about when things go bad get a G23 and take one thing off the list

I've owned and shot about 5000 rounds (mostly 180 gr PMP & 135 gr Corbon) thru my Glock 23c back here in the good ole wild wild South Africa since I purchased the firearm in 1998. I have found it to be a superb carry arm and quite accurate and "never leave home without it!". At first, because of the 40S&W's newness on the South African market (everybody here packs either a 9mmP or 45ACP) I had my doubts about the efficiency of the 23c - however this piece has served me well. So all those Glockbashers writing in on this site - I guess it a case of sour grapes chaps! Keep on Glocking!

the glock 23 is about the same weight as an all steel s&w 5 shot .38.. now look at the obvious advantages of the glock 23 same weight (approx) twice the capacity, it is probably alot more accurate, you can reload it much much faster, and the .40 cal with the right ammo is considered by all who know to be a superior manstopper compared to the .38 special. as a carry piece the glock is superior in some very important ways.

Have fired 2150 rounds, to date, out of my model 23. Various target & premium loads. NOT A SINGLE JAM OR MALFUNCTION. Unsurpassed quality & accuracy right out of the box. A highly dependable weapon. Again, what else can I say?!

I recently purchased a Glock 23C .40S&W and am totally pleased with the performance of this gun!!! It is very smooth and acurrate and recoil is very tamed by the factory compensator. I brag very heavily on Glock firearms because I have never had one jam and is extremely accurate out of the box.
