Given the previous experiences that I have had throughout the closing years of the 90's, I have been through every 45 ACP made from Para Ordnance to H & K and the only 45 ACP that I would ever stake my life and family on is the Glock-21 pistol. Given it's superior ergonomics and plain ruggedness, it is simple for me to say ," There are no other 45 ACP's out that compare." There is one exception and that is the Glock-30(compact variant of the Glock-21), this pistol is also extremely reliable. Just can't get used to the feel. I am used to the solid 1911 and the glock is a hard to get used to. I would shoot one before you buy. The grips are a little bulky for my hands. I did put many rounds through it without a problem- accuracy was good- and the price was right.
