Originally owned a G17 then the mag. ban came about so traded it in on a G22. I figured if your gonna carry a 10 round mag in your weapon it might as well be big bore .40 S& W. The G22 is a really good pointer and shoots well considering your throwing a snappy .40 S&W down range. This weapon is a bit too high from the butt to top of sights to carry concealed in summer months, but ok to carry in a shoulder rig for the colder months when you can wear a jacket. I carried mine in a duty holster and it didn't wear the skin off my hip from the weight. For a big bore caliber its good to know you have 10 rounds ready to kick ass, and to have 2-10 round mags on my belt just in case. I would diffinitely say Glock is the way to go BUT ! beware of the recalls on certain models. Glock is not the best of admitting or notifiying customers about potential problems.

Ive owned my Glock 22 for about six years, straight out of the box when I first shot it I shot 91 out of 100 targets at various positions using my left and right hand at a local range. I had never previously fired a .40 cal in my life. "How ya love that?"

I've had my glock 22 for about 6 months now were i've shot many round thru it. I've yet t have a problem and my Grouping has Increased Significintly with the glock over other guns. I've tried the 45 cal but it seems to be just a bit much recoil ..

" Personally iI feel as if the 22 isn't as effective as the older models and makes throughout the gun market, but because it's a glock it still has a certain confidence feel to it , so it ranks up there with the big dogs"

I have owned this great quality pistol for 2 years now and it is the best gun I have ever held or shot. I have never had a miss fire or had a bullet jam,...not once. It is the most smiplistic gun to maintain and keep clean. I will never go to another brand name pistol. The glock is very dependable. I can count on it do do its job.

I'm a police officer in a very high crime city. I believe in constant training to insure my skills. I've put over 40,000 rounds through my 22. Never a miss fire, never a problem. Glock is the single best fire arm you there is. The 22 feels like an extension of my hand that I can depend on. If you shoot a Glock 22 and don't like it, shoot it some more and you will. After a 1000 rounds you won't ever pick up any thing else!

After shooting more than 5,000 reloads thru my Glock 22, I am happy to say, no malfunctions. The gun works perfect.

I have carried my G22 on duty in numerous environments- rain, snow, lake patrol, bike patrol, extreme heat. This is THE gun to have. Caliber will always be debated, so you G17 and G31'ers have at it, but if you want a reliable, GREAT weapon this is it.

Fits my hand fairly well. Not quite so well as my Hi Power, though. Kimbers have lighter, crisper triggers, but for what it is, the trigger pull is damned good. Light weight, yet very manageable recoil. It's ultra-reliable, but horribly innaccurate. Groups the size of a beachball at 25 yds., with a flyer way over there. Other people get the same results with my Glock. I hit things with my other pistols. Most distressing.
