-May 8 2002 Glock 21 is a very goo gun. I've bought and put 2000-3000 rounds through it without a single problem. since I have lots of gun, kimber, ruger, springfield, sig, s$w... Therefore, I bought G21, it took me a while to get use to it. In short, all guns are gun. It just personal preference for each person. Once your hand get use to a particular branch and you'll be good with it. but for simplicity, I'll choose glock over all.....*-* Details..

-5/2/2002 I'D HAVE TO AGREE WITH FMJ. I OWN BOTH A USP AND A GLOCK AND AS MUCH AS I LOVE MY USP, I CARRY MY GLOCK AS MY CCW FIREARM. YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT A GLOCK, SIMPLICTY, DURABILITY, AND ACCURACY. NO PRICE OR QUALITY OF A USP CAN MATCH THAT. LETS NOT FORGET THAT I OWN 2 HK'S TOO. USP AND USC. Details..

-Apr 29 2002 Adam, Just because the 21 & the 36 are .45 doesn't matter. What matters is what is your purpose for the specific model. Do you want to conceal, competition, home defence or just plinking. Take the fit of your palm around the grip in to consideration. I have a 21 for all the above if you read down below. I couldn't be any happier. If you have a range nearby with the guns you want test them and as the range officer questions about his experince with that gun in particulaar. Like reliability, maintanance accuracy, wear and tear. LATER.FMJ. P.S. What's up jb. When I have more time I'll reach you. Details..

-Apr 25 2002 i have had extensive experience with both the USP and the glocks. I think both are excellent guns. but, when i am on duty and I have to draw my weapon, I would rather have the glock. from my experience, the glock is more reliable, and i am not too fond of the safety/decocking system on the USP. Both have about the same accuracy, which is about par with most service pistols. I have fired about 30,000 rounds from my current duty weapon (Glock) without a single problem. However, the USP's that i have had experience with had occasional stovepipes when they weren't clean after extensive shooting. The 45ACP is a good round, but ballistics prove that it is inferior to the .40 S&W as far as one shot stopping percentage and penetration. Glock On. Details..

-4/23/2002 FastEddie98,
Here are the guidelines I use to clean mine.
1) After the purchase - Even w/ a new gun. Strip all lubrication because the stuff they use at the factory is often intended to prevent corrosion instead of lubricate moving parts.
2) After every shooting - I generally clean the bore as soon as I get home and later that night clean the bore again as well as the frame, slide, etc.
3) After exposure to the elements - Hunting trips, carrying in the snow, rain, dessert, etc.
I know Glocks are supposed to be able to take a high degree of abuse, but don't neglect cleaning. Most failures I've seen that were not related to the ammunition could be attributed to improper cleaning and care. Things like extractors and firing pins can malfunction because of small particles and deposits.
For a good source of cleaning information go to http://www.sigarms.com/academy/resources Details..

-Apr 21 2002 I have a Glock 23 today and am looking to add a .45 to my collection. I have narrowed my search to the Glock 21 & Glock 36. I will be testing out both of these weapons at a local range to see which one works better for me, however I would like to know which one of these guns you would be purchasing if you were in my shoes. Thank you. Details..
