WHEN I FIRST SAW THE GLOCK 27 I THOUGHT IT MUST KICK LIKE A MULE!!! AFTER SHOOTING A FEW HUNDRED ROUNDS THROUGH IT I REALIZED JUST HOW CONTROLLABLE THE RECOIL IS EVEN WITHOUT THE GRIP EXTENSION. I WAS ABLE TO PRODUCE ONE SHOT GROUPS (WITH A LITTLE CONCENTRATION) AT 7YDS. WITH EASE. HEAD SHOTS WERE EASY AT THIS DISTANCE WITH QUICK FOLLOW UP SHOTS AND EASY RELOADS; TRY DOING THAT WITH A SNUB NOSE .38 SPL. PLUS YOU HAVE TWICE AS MANY, MORE EFFECTIVE ROUNDS. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND INVESTING IN A HI- CAP MAG. FOR THE GLOCK 23 OR 22 AS A RELOAD TO THE 9 RD. MAG. UNCLE MIKES KYDEX HOLSTER IS THE BEST BUY FOR $20.00/$25.00 YOU GET AN EXCELLENT WAY TO CARRY THAT LITTLE .40 CAL.

WHAT MORE CAN BE SAID?! THERE MUST BE 20 OR 30 RESPONSES, AND ONLY ONE PERSON HAD A LARGE COMPLAINT! THIS GUN IS AWESOME! I PERSONALLY ADDED THE SCHERER MAG EXTENSIONS...FITS MY HAND LIKE A GLOVE! (I ORIGINALLY TRIED THE PIERCE GRIP EXTENSIONS, BUT THE SCHERERS ARE MUCH BETTER!) THIS THING IS SO ACCURATE AND RELIABLE, AND I HAVE GONE HUNDREDS OF ROUNDS WITHOUT CLEANING IT....NEVER MISFED!

i have shot many handguns and glock rocks!!
the 27 tops them all,you can also
buy a .357sig barrel for it
and have more enjoyment.too bad cant stuff a 10mm barrel in it:)

Like to know what is a good size round to use in this glock 27. I have just purchased one and have gotten six boxs of winchester 40 sw 180 gr hollow points for it. Like to know what other people perfer to shoot in their 27.

A really great gun! It can be a bit of a handfull for new shooters, but with just a little experience it is pretty easy to control, and downright fun to shoot. Far more accurate than you would expect from a small compact too. Stay focused on that front sight and watch one big ragged hole appear!

I am torn between the 23 and the 27. Any suggestions? I like the 23 but want a good conceal gun. Is the .5 inch barrel difference very noticable?

I bought my G27 not long ago and I love it, shot real accurate out of the box, would compare to my G22 as far as the pattern I leave on the target, great for self-def. highly recc.
