-3/21/2002 The G-36 is what we have been waiting for. First day of testing. Four seasoned Police Officers including myself sent 400 rounds down range and noticed one major problem. Each one of us experienced a pinching of our pinkey finger every time the weapon was fired. Glock advised they have never heard of this problem, but I can tell you it does happen. We have purchased the Pierce plus one grip extension and we will test it soon on the 10 factory magazines that we have for the gun, for testing purposes. I would like to know if anyone else has experienced this problem, just for our info. Thanks, Metropolitan Police Washington, D.C. Details..

-2/20/2002 I own a G36 and love the thing! It is such a powerful gun, yet so easy to handle. I had bought it never firing a .45 before... I was afraid that the small frame and large caliber would make it hard to handle.... Not the case at all, it is as smooth as my 9mm.
Also, as far as 6 shots... All you really need is one well placed Hydra-shok slug.... not 10-15 rounds..... The gun dealer said most defense situations only 1-3 shots are typically ever fired statistacally. Details..

-2/10/2002 Have worn it everyday now for a year.
Thumb/slide release wears a little on the skin if worn with a sweatshirt (probably depends on holster.) It could use 1 more round (plan to get extension now that I know about it thanks to this list.)
Greatest thing is its concealability and it's awsome firepower for such a small gun.
I've had to pull it once on a perp attempting to carjack me while serving papers in the projects.....the tremendous bore radius was a pants-wetting experience for the poor fellow.
Now I'm especially in love with it......it's saved me once.
G36, it's a keeper. Details..
