The best modern handgun since the 1911,1911 A1. I have a 17 and a 26.

Glocks are guns designed for the same people that drive automatics, use AOL, and Microsoft products.

I have to agree with Vegas. It's a great gun, but not nearly as accurate as my Hk USP9.

Great Pistol Design! Easiest pistol to field strip and very easy to clean. I'd have to say the best for the money. Although I am used to Single actions, I would recommend Glock to anyone. I know everyone shoots differently, but I found accuracy a little challenging. Not quite as accurate as my HK USP9, but my HK was substantially more expensive.

I have 5 Glocks, and the .22 conversion kit. I have a 17, two 22s, a 21 and a 33. The bottom line is that all the full size Glocks kick ass, but I either carry the M21 in a briefcase or M33 on my person. I am have very big hands - many people have a hard time with it. I would actually go with the compacts - a 19 or 23 - instead of a full size Glock if you were only going to have ONE.

I just purchased a glock 17 about two months ago. Before i brought it i did plenty of research and compared many guns. My final choice came down to the beretta 92fs and my glock. I had a chance to shoot both guns at a local range and let me tell you the glock is the way to go. The beretta 92fs is an excellent gun however; it is a lot larger and much more heavier than the g-17. The glock truly is the most easy to use, easy to clean, easy to maintain, and most reliable. No other gun feels at home like a glock in my hand. P.S. Do not get caught up in the cailber dispute, the 9mm has plenty of stopping power, just be careful to select top quality ammunition like Corbon +p or federal hydra shok. The .45 is a slow sluggish round pick your cailber based on velocity - the 9mm, .357, and 10mm are the best picks. Big bores are not always the best choices.
