Best pistol I have ever owned/shot simple and reliable, I have put over 1,000 rounds

Awesome gun; absolutely the best out there.
Notice how the other gun manufacturers are making polymer pistols now?! Copy is the ultimate form of flattery. Highly recommend one, i own a Glock 17 and have put 600 rounds through it now in just 2 months; no malfuntions, no problems , a dream to maintain and clean. what more could you ask for?

I have experience Clock-17 third generation model in gunfight. I shot 12 winchester re-banned 147gr Black talon bullets against one of our city heroine dealer. After that this felon was very afraid and he moved out of our city. Local police hate this creep and they don"t send me to the prison. I recomend Clock-17 for everyone who was worried his own personal safety. Use only a good quality hollow point bullets!

I've owned Glock 17's since the first generation hit US shores. I love them. Everytime I would trade one off for something else, I would end up coming right back for another G17. I'm on my 3rd G17, and the only thing it will be traded for is a newer G17. Simplicity, durability, accuracy...what more can you ask? Great self-defense and hiking sidearm. Glock, the ultimate shooting machine...

Hello everyone. I'm considering a Glock, either the 17 or the 19 for home defense. What would be your recommendation on the two? Is one better than the other? Would a 19 be easier for my wife to handle? After reading the specs there doesn't seem to be all that much size difference, but then agian I haven't seen them in person. I won't be concealing the firearem, it would be for home defense only. Also, was considering a Beretta, but am fearful of the talk of jamming. Any truth to this? Thanks for your replies.

I READ THESE PAGES. I SHOT MY FRIENDS GLOCK 17. I DID MORE RESEARCH ON THE COMPANY AND THE GUN ITSELF. I FULLY UNDERSTAND THE SAFETY.(MOST IMPORTANT). SO GUESS WHAT. TODAY I JUST PURCHASED MY FIRST HANDGUN.. A HANDSOME GLOCK 17-9MM. DID I MAKE A WISE CHOICE? I PLAN ON THIS HANDGUN FOR HOME PROTECTION AND WHEN I'M OUT IN THE FOREST ENJOYING MY PRIVILIEGE(HUNTING).
