-11/14/2001 Sorry, but the .45 ACP cartridge lacks too much power compared to the 10mm. If you want the most powerful Glock made you need to get the Glock 20 10mm. .45 ACP is a decent round for very close quarter combat, but it has been VERY MUCH OVERRATED over the decades. All of the Law Enforcement officers I know stay away from this round because of it's lack of velocity and energy when it comes to hitting criminals large distances away. It is just a big, sluggish, slow moving bullet. Great if you know your assailant is going to be standing still or won't be moving very far during the gun fight. But for Security or Law Enforcement, the 10mm, .357 magnum, .40 S&W, or 9mm is the most logical choice. Details..

-10/17/2001 I've had this Glock about 8 yrs.-I like the capacity and the accuracy but after 2 trips back to the factory for feeding problems I don't trust it any more. Four of us at work bought them at the same time and we all had similar problems and I am the only one left with a Glock. As far as what I'm reading about comparing them with Sigs-no way. None of my Sigs have ever jammed or any thing else or anyone else I know. Some folks consider jams a minor problem but not me. A gun doesn't have to wash clothes or get you to work, its only job is to shoot reliably. I probably won't keep it much longer. Details..

-10/4/2001 First, I love America, I am Canadian. There is no other country I would rather share a border with.
My regards to N.Y. "Justice will be done"
As a Canadian I have had to endure a long wait and screening process to own a (restricted hand gun) I havn't purchased yet, but have used Para 1911 style, infinity, and S&W mostly .40 because reloading dictates cost in this calibre.
Glock seems to be the way to go...good enough for the FBI, good enough for this gun loving Northman. Details..
