drbarbour-Aug 21 2008 This is an outstanding piece of weaponry and as all Glock firearms do it holds up even through the greatest of abuse. I have great success with this as well as all models. No misfires, jams, stovepipes, or any other flaw, regardless of whether I was using Defense, Target, or reloaded ammo. The grip Can become slick while shooting in hot weather but stick on rough grips can solve this problem easily. Details..

S Rods-Dec 9 2005 Spend some time considering the value of a well designed firearm that is noted for it's reliability and handling qualities. Think about the fact that there is only one opperating control to learn and master to become proficient. A GLOCK is like a self winding watch. You will grow to appreciate it's simplicity. Details..

-Dec 2 2005 I recently traded my Beretta 96D for a Glock 23. I liked how accurate the Beretta was and that it was made of metal. I trust metal over plastic. After I got the glock however, I went to the range and put 200 rounds through it. I have to say that it competed in accuracy with the 96, while at the same time being lighter (I guess thats why we use plastics huh?). Overall the Glock has proven better than the Beretta, not to mention much more compact and easier to find replacement/upgraded parts for it. Details..

-Oct 16 2004 I did a lot of research and tried a few pistols before choosing the 23. It had everything I wanted: more compact than a full-size, a four inch barrel, inexpensive high-cap mags with total capacity 14 rounds, rugged construction, and a great reputation to back it all up. The limited edition OD green frame didn't hurt either. At first I hesitated, because the slide release and mag release seemed difficult to operate, but after spending some time with the pistol I have zero difficulty with it. It shoots much more accurately than I am capable of firing it. Overall just a fantastic piece of engineering. Details..
