The Glock 31 pistol is a good one, but it certainly doesn't "exceed or surpass" the legendary .357 Magnum revolver cartridge developed by Smith and Wesson in the 1930s. The Glock 31 fires a .357 Sig cartridge, which was developed by Sig Arms to "suggest" similarity to the more powerful revolver round. By leaving the name "Sig" off the caliber, Glock dishonors itself and does its competitor a disservice. Such a practice calls into question other Glock claims, which is totally unnecessary because Glock pistols stand on their own without this sleight of hand.

I have purchased all of the weapons available in the glock line. Yes i even have a glock 18.
I very much enjoy these weapons as they compliment the rest of my collection. The glock 31 is not my favorite but it is the one that i carry with me as a back up when i go out. The power that the .357 SIG round has is excellent as it has better penetration then my glock 22.

I am having a hard time trying to understand why .357 sig glock needs a 15.98 twist? I know that this has a great effect on the round, is this a sacrifice for pressure or does it have some real aspects of dope?

I bought a glock 31 and it made me a better shooter. The power an accuracy of this gun is unmatched by any of my other semi auto's. My 9mm and 45 acp don't create the energy the 357 sig creates. With a federal 125 grain hollow point exiting the 4.5 inch barrel at 1420 fps the only problem you might incounter over penetration. PS the 357 sig is not a necked down 40 it is made to withstand higher pressures up to 40,000 psi.

31C - Best handgun I have ever shot. Extremly accurate at 25 yards with over 500 ft/lbs of energy.

I bought my 31 about a year ago. My only regret is I did not buy it sooner. I would not trade my 31 for ANY other personal carry gun. In my opinion the Glock 31 is perfection.

I own several hand gun's, and the Glock 31 is the best gun investment I have made. Yes, the ammo is expensive. But I would not trade or sell my 31 for any other personal carry gun. In my opinion the Glock is as close to perfect as they come.

I bought my G31 about 8 moths ago. I also bought the Tungsten guide rod for it. The combination is awesome! Very loud gun eve with ear protection, but very well worth it.
